Choral Scholars, Organist and Administrator

Holy Trinity Church is looking to appoint choral scholars in all voice-parts, an organist to play for choral Eucharist once a month, and an administrator to create and print service sheets (approximately 1 hour per week).

Sing for the Choral Eucharist two Sundays each month between September and July
Rehearsals and service: 8.30am–12.00pm
Sing for Feast Day services, including the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols and Good Friday
26 services per year, with a 6-week summer break

Candidates should have:
* Strong musicianship and sight-reading skills
* Sound vocal technique
* Ability to sing one-per-part
* Aged 16+
We’re a warm and welcoming choir who love the challenge of preparing a new mass, anthem, introit, and psalm chant for each service.
Part-time Organist of Organ Scholar
* £1,600 per year (total 16 services)
* Remunerated on a self-employed basis
Play the organ for the Choral Eucharist on the Third Sunday of each month between September and July. These services are led by the Youth Choir. Rehearsals and service: 8.30am–12.00pm
Play the organ for theEucharist on the First Sunday after Easter and four Sundays in the summer holidays. These services are led by a cantor. Rehearsals and service: 9am-10.45am.
Candidates should have:
* Grade 8 organ or equivalent standard
* Ability to sight-read
* Some experience in playing psalms
* Aged 16+
Part-time Administrator
We are also looking for an administrator to format service sheets for 3-4 services per month using pre-existing templates. This role is expected to take approximately 1 hour per week and is payable at a rate of £30 per service sheet. It would suit a choral scholar who may wish to add this role on to their commitment on Sundays. Training is provided.

Choral scholar and organist candidates will be invited to audition at Holy Trinity Church at a mutually convenient time. Applicants should include whether they are also interested in the administration role detailed above.
