Head of Operations
Location: Split between Chester & Preston
Salary: £70,000 – £85,000 per year (dependent on experience)

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced senior leader to take operational responsibility for a portfolio of CQC and Ofsted-regulated services, including residential care for children and adults, supported living, and therapeutic retreat provision.
You will be the driving force behind quality, compliance, and service development, ensuring every setting delivers safe, nurturing, and life-changing care for children, young people, and adults with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, and mental health needs.
The Role
* Oversee the operational performance, quality assurance, and compliance of multiple regulated services.
* Act as Nominated Individual (CQC) and Responsible Individual (Ofsted), ensuring all services meet and exceed regulatory standards.
* Lead the registration, development, and launch of new services in line with strategic growth plans.
* Implement and embed robust auditing systems to drive continuous improvement.
* Provide strong, visible leadership to Registered Managers and operational teams.
* Work collaboratively with senior leaders, commissioners, and external partners to deliver outstanding outcomes.
What You'll Bring
* Excellent knowledge of CQC and Ofsted regulatory frameworks.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or equivalent).
* Proven track record as a Nominated Individual / Responsible Individual.
* Experience managing both children's and adults' regulated services.
* Strong background in quality assurance, audit management, and service improvement.
* Professional, resilient, and collaborative leadership style.
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.
