Role: General Cover Supervisor – Future Teacher Programme

Are you a graduate considering a teaching career but first want to gain classroom experience?
We are working with several mainstream secondary schools in Worksop looking to recruit cover supervisors on a temporary basis, with potential opportunities for permanent positions. In this role, you will lead classes across all departments, deliver preset work, and manage classroom behaviour.
The schools are committed to supporting graduates aspiring to become teachers by providing training in behaviour management and opportunities to gain experience in a specific subject area.
Candidate Requirements:
* Some experience working in a school setting
* Confidence and capability to lead classes and manage challenging behaviour
* Subject specialism (advantageous)
Role Details:
* Full-time or part-time roles (Monday – Friday or minimum 3 days/week)
* Working hours: 3:15 onwards
* Term-time only, aligned with Nottinghamshire academic calendar

All pay rates are inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with potential for permanency later.
