Overview
The Senior Manager, Change Management and Communications, is a key member of the Digital & Technology Transformation EMEA continent team reporting directly to the Senior Director, Change Management and Communications, Digital & Technology Transformation EMEA. The primary focus of the team over the next few years is designing and delivering the Digital and Technical Transformation (DTT), a multi-year effort to transform Marriott's technology and business process ecosystem, enabling Marriott to deliver on our vision to become the world's favorite travel company. The team works closely with the Global Business Transformation Office (BTO) which was established to enable and accelerate these changes through unique approaches to strategic planning, program management, change management, experience and business process design, coordination, and deployment. Responsibilities
* Change Management Plan and Execution: Partners with the Senior Director and global Change Management team to gather and assess change impacts for EMEA stakeholders.
* Change Management Plan and Execution: Partners with the Senior Director and global Change Management team to create and execute a comprehensive change management plan for impacted EMEA stakeholders, working closely with continent, Deployment, Learning and other teams to meet defined success measures.
* Change Management Plan and Execution: Develops and distributes required change and deployment deliverables (e.g., presentations, job aids, SharePoint site, Program communications platform - Mission Control and additional communications, etc.).
* Change Management Plan and Execution: Partner with global Change Management and Communications team to develop and deliver communications and engagement activities for the End User Council.
* Stakeholder Engagement and Communications: Partners with the Senior Director and global Change Management and Communications teams to co-create and execute effective communications to various EMEA stakeholders via a variety of mediums, including Weekly Update, webinars, online content, presentations, emails, etc.
* Stakeholder Engagement and Communications: Plans, facilitates, and co-creats content for live webinars and office hours in partnership with BTO team and continent experts.
* Stakeholder Engagement and Communications: Supports the intake of topics and facilitate regular updates to the communications plan.
* Stakeholder Engagement and Communications: Partners with the Senior Director and global Change Management and Communications teams to create content for and execute continent-wide conferences, key meetings, and planning forums to ensure effective collaboration, strategic alignment, and understanding across our regions.
* Recognition Program: Partners with the Senior Director to execute the Recognition Program plan.
* Recognition Program: Partners with the Senior Director and the EMEA team to facilitate ongoing feedback- ensuring both celebrations and pain points are addressed.
* The Senior Manager, Change Management and Communications, will partner with the Senior Director, Change Management + Communications to create and execute change management and communications activities in EMEA in support of DTT. This role will partner closely with colleagues throughout the entire DTT Program - including (but not limited to) Global Change Management, Communications, Deployment, Associate Experience, Learning, and EMEA stakeholders.
Success in this role requires strong writing and critical thinking skills, attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity, a proven ability to manage multiple work efforts at the same time, as well as a willingness to deliver on difficult and time-sensitive requests.
Qualifications
* 4-year degree from an accredited university; master's degree strongly preferred, AND
* 5-7+ years of relevant professional experience in related function that is writing extensive (employee or operations communications, change management, etc.), demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance.
* PROSCI Change Management Practitioner and communications qualifications are a plus
* Prior operations or topline discipline experience a plus.
* Strong personal leadership, organizational, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
* Outstanding formal and informal presentation skills
* Ability to create professional quality, analytical presentations to deliver key messages, at speed.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver results under difficult conditions, particularly when faced with complexity and ambiguity
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Experience developing clear, concise, and logically written business communications
* Ability to gain a clear understanding of an initiative and represent it to various constituencies across the organization
* Ability to work effectively in a complex, service-intensive, deadline-driven environment
* Ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization

* Ability to juggle multiple projects and many stakeholders
* Basic project management skills
* Ability to complete deliverables with high quality and up to established standards
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications; experience with Smartsheet is preferred to streamline project management and collaboration; experience with email distribution tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus
* Experience and willingness to learn Co-pilot and new AI tools to facilitate communications and create efficiency in communications approaches
