We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to support a major Windows 11 migration project for a secure government site. This hands‑on contract role will see you working as part of the onsite refresh team to prepare, deploy, and hand over devices in line with the project schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and manage the onsite refresh clinic for device migrations.
* Move equipment from storage to the clinic and return collected devices at the end of each day.
* Refresh laptops and configure systems following engineer and site manager instructions.
* Collect and hand over devices to end‑users, ensuring all handovers match the migration schedule.
* Update the workflow management system accurately at every stage.
* Escalate and report technical issues promptly to the site manager or post‑migration support team.
* Perform daily stock checks and ensure correct packaging and labelling of returned devices for disposal or refurbishment.
Requirements:
* Active SC Clearance (essential).
* Experience in IT hardware deployment, device refresh, or migration projects.
* Comfortable working in a secure environment under defined processes.
