Job Title: Chef – Farnborough
Pay: £15.50 per hour (Weekly Pay)
Contract: Ongoing
Hours: Saturday & Sunday (shift times on rota, flexibility required)
Additional hours available at another site if full-time work is desired.
We are seeking an experienced and reliableChef to join our client’s catering team inFarnborough. This role is primarily weekend-based, working shifts on both Saturday and Sunday. For candidates looking forfull-time hours, extra shifts may be arranged at a nearby site.
Key Responsibilities for a Chef:
* Preparing and cooking high-volume batch meals (cooking for large amounts of people).
* Following structured menus and recipes to ensure consistency and portion control.
* Meeting all dietary requirements, food hygiene, and allergen management standards.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen environment.
* Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
* Working effectively both independently and as part of a small team.
Requirements for a Chef:
* Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (essential).
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to location).
* Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a high-volume catering environment.
* Strong understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling.
* Flexibility with shift patterns and a proactive approach to teamwork.
