Job Description
A local authority shared service is seeking an Assistant Principal Lawyer- Planning & Regeneration Lawyer for an initial period of three months.

The successful Lawyer will support the Principal Lawyer and will assist with the following:
\n\n
\n\t
* Advise on matters arising in all areas of planning and regeneration,
\n\t
* Assist with complex corporate projects,
\n\t
* Advise on high profile matters, including advising elected members at council meetings,
\n\t
* Act as senior liaison points for clients,
\n\t
* Advise on regeneration projects, and
\n\t
* Deputise in the Principal Lawyers absence.
\n
\n\n
It is essential you have previous management experience and can start on short notice. We are only able to consider candidates with a current practising certificate. Previous local government experience is highly advantageous.
