This position is available for an immediate start on a supply basis, with potential for long-term placement. About the Role / Role Overview: As a KS2 Teacher, you will take responsibility for a class of pupils aged 7 to 11, helping them develop both academically and socially in preparation for the next stage of their education. You will be expected to deliver engaging lessons, maintain high standards of behaviour, and support every pupil to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the KS2 curriculum. Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching methods to meet varying needs. Maintain a well-organised and inclusive classroom environment. Foster a culture of high expectations, resilience, and curiosity. Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and parents to promote pupil wellbeing and academic growth. Engage actively with school policies and contribute to the wider school community. Job Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 2. Prior experience teaching within Key Stage 2 in a UK primary school. Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues. Effective classroom management techniques to maintain a calm and productive learning environment. Adaptability and creativity, with the ability to differentiate learning and support a wide range of abilities and needs. Have an updated CV ( covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps ) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one). Why Join GSL Education?
