Adept resourcing are supporting a precision manufacturer with the recruitment of a Multiskilled Maintenance Fitter. The Maintenance Fitter performs machine maintenance and basic facility repairs according to safety regulations and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives. This is a based on a 3 shift (17% premium) pattern working 37.5 hours per week.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment as required.
Perform work including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, across a range of production machines.
Perform preventative maintenance on all machines, equipment, and plant facility.
Carry out installation tasks including electrical, water and air supplies.
Given that roles within maintenance necessitate working in a variety of environments, you must be able to demonstrate a robust understanding of the Health and Safety perimeters across the site and mindfulness of how safety requirements vary by department.
They need experience from within a maintenance background, ideally with a variety of equipment.
Apprenticeship (preferred)
~ Proven hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic industrial experience (Required).
Recognised Electrical training/ experience.
