3. Full time37.5 hoursper week

4. Shifts: Monday to Friday. (Flexibility/availability required between 6am and 8:00pm to meet serviceneedsat based facility)

5. Permanent Contract

6. Salary: £27,222 per annum

We’relooking for a Patient Access Officer to join our Patient Access team based atone of our London Facilities (The London Bridge Hospital, The Wellington Hospital, The Harley Street Clinic, The Portland Hospital, The Princess Grace Hospital & The listerHospital)

Your duties as a Patient Access Officer will includeprovidinga comprehensive range of administrative services to consultants and other third parties that willassistin promoting the successful management of all aspects needed tofacilitatea seamless patient pathway. In this role, you will be able tofacilitatethe patient’s experience byproviding a 5-star and world class service to our internal and external stakeholders through a seamless patient journey witha high levelof customer care at all timeswhilst handling a high volume of activity.

Whatyou’lldo:

7. Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and professionaldemeanour, ensuring they feel supported and valued from the moment they arrive.

8. Engage with patients throughout their journey, addressing queries, providing clear communication, andmaintaininga welcoming environment.

9. Respond promptly to any patient or third-party requests,demonstratingempathy and understanding in every interaction

10. Maintainaccurateand up to date information on the hospital database during the patient journey.

11. Formally pre-register or register all patientsontoHCA databases.

12. Ensure all relevant Patient documents are signed and scanned to the patient accounts.

13. Manage patient waiting areas to ensure the Patient Access Service runs smoothly.

14. Coordinate andfacilitateall patient bookings where applicable.

Whatyou’llbring:

15. PreviousAdministrative experience in a client/customer-facing role (candidates with retail or hospitality backgrounds are encouraged to apply).

16. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a positiveattitudeand the ability toempathisewith patients and visitors.

17. Excellent customer care skills, ensuring each patient’s journey is seamless and compassionate.

18. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure while managing multiple tasks.
