We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teaching Assistants to join our team and work with primary and secondary schools across Salisbury and the Yeovil area.
About the Role:
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you’ll be stepping into various classrooms to provide essential support to both pupils and teaching staff. Whether assisting with classroom activities, providing one-on-one support, or helping children with additional needs, your role will be vital to the smooth running of the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support pupils with their learning on a 1:1 or group basis
* Assist the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour and activities
* Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
* Adapt quickly to new settings and build positive relationships with students and staff
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children (school or youth setting preferred)
* A flexible, positive, and proactive attitude
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
* Availability at short notice
