PAY & HOURS
1st 6 Months
* £17.30 per hour
* 40 hours paid per week
* Monday to Thursday 7.00 am to 5.30 pm

AFTER TRAINING (Approximately 6 months)
* £17.92 per hour
* + Shift allowance of £35 (3.18 per hour)
* £17.92 + £3.18 = £21.10 per hour including shift allowance
* 44 hours paid per week
* 6.30 am to 6.00 pm - 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern

Essential to Apply:
* Applicants must have proven experience operating CNC machinery within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
* A solid understanding of engineering drawings, measurement tools, and machining processes is essential.
* You should be mechanically minded, reliable, and confident working independently to high standards of accuracy and quality.

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Set and operate high-speed CNC machines to perform milling, drilling, tapping, and other machining tasks
* Carry out general operation and supervision of additional workshop machinery
* Ensure tooling, fixtures, and CNC programmes are available prior to production
* Maintain accurate production records, including component counts and scrap levels
* Uphold high standards of product quality and efficient output
* Read and interpret mechanical and engineering drawings
* Perform basic editing of CNC programmes and tool tables when required
* Take ownership of component quality and related documentation
* Check and replace tooling and cutters as necessary
* Prepare and load raw materials and components onto machines
* Check and refill lubricant levels
* Apply a strong understanding of CNC 3-axis and 4-axis machining and Renishaw probing
* Follow all company safety systems and operational procedures
