Overview

Bradley Stoke Community School are looking to appoint a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and welcoming learning support team. The role aims to help improve the academic progress and mental wellbeing of students with additional needs. We are seeking a dynamic teaching assistant to work with a range of teachers to deliver excellent teaching and learning, enabling learners to achieve high standards and make good progress. You may be asked to support children on a 1:1 or group basis, assist with assessments and work with teachers to create learning resources. The successful candidate may be required to work across both the primary and secondary phase of the school, although this is most likely to be based in the secondary phase. This is a temporary position for one year, working 21 hours per week, term time only plus INSET days. Additional hours are likely to be available and there may be a possibility of a contract extension if funding remains available.
