About The Role
The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is seeking exceptional people to deliver our vision for an inclusive, globally competitive city region. This role will lead the design, development and delivery of the Mayor’s Digital Badge manifesto pledge within our award-winning LCR Be More platform, providing residents with verifiable micro-credentials linked to local employment opportunities. The programme will help close skills gaps, improve progression pathways, and embed digital recognition of achievement across the region.
Based in the Investment and Delivery Directorate and reporting to the Principal Officer – Be More, the postholder will oversee the phased implementation of a pilot digital credentialling programme, initially focused on Skills Bootcamps, while developing partnerships with employers, training providers, and technology partners to ensure credibility and adoption.
About The Person
We are seeking an individual with experience of designing and delivering innovative digital projects in the skills, education, or employment sectors. You should have knowledge of digital badge frameworks and credentialling standards, alongside strong partnership-building skills and the ability to embed new digital tools into existing platforms.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, be highly organised, and able to manage complex workloads and competing priorities. We expect the post holder to demonstrate an understanding of and a personal commitment to the vision and aims of Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.

* Leading a digital learning project and showing measurable results (uptake, engagement, or outcomes).
* Examples of partnership building with training providers or employers.
* Examples of working across multiple internal teams to deliver a project.
* Using data to shape decision-making or reporting.
* Communicating complex concepts to a non-technical audience (e.g. employers, learners).
