JOB PURPOSE
To repair, test and overhaul valve & cylinder assemblies and undertake hydrostatic testing of cylinders and charging of complete assemblies (up to 4500 PSI)
1. Strip down of valve assemblies
2. Replace standard spares as part of the overhaul process
3. Inspect individual parts and replace defective items.
4. Thorough clean of components
5. Build-up valve assemblies ready for testing on various flow rigs
6. Hydrostatic testing of cylinders in accordance with Department of Transport requirements
7. Re-assembly of the valve and cylinder components
8. Charge the complete assemblies to pressures of up to 4500 PSI
9. Provide ad hoc support, as required, to the safety inflatable team
EXPERIENCE
10. Prior experience working of interpreting and following in detail compliance manuals (essential)
QUALIFICATIONS
11. Numerate and literate – minimum GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
