We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrator to join our team as part of the Healthier Together @Home service.
This role is central to the smooth running of a dynamic, patient-focused model of care which delivers hospital-level support in the comfort of people's homes. By working closely with system partners and using appropriate remote monitoring tools, the service aims to:
Reduce unnecessary hospital stays
Build trust in the safe delivery of care at home
Encourage shared decision-making between patients and professionals
Foster a confident, collaborative approach to care
Strengthen system-wide management of clinical risk in community settings
As a Senior Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the service. You'll be an essential link between patients, professionals, and system partners – keeping things running smoothly, accurately, and professionally.
Your responsibilities will include:
Communication
Providing a courteous and responsive service to patients, carers, clinicians and partner organisations
Handling sensitive, sometimes emotional conversations with professionalism and support
Creating tailored correspondence and written materials
Supporting others in managing complaints, concerns and enquiries
Offering non-clinical advice and appropriate signposting
Planning & Coordination
Managing your own and others' workloads to meet service demands
Coordinating team rotas, meetings, clinics and events
Supporting recruitment processes including interviews and onboarding
Deputising for managers when required and overseeing small projects
Data & Resources
Handling data accurately, supporting reports, audits and service evaluations
Managing petty cash and ordering essential equipment or supplies
Ensuring compliance with documentation, data protection and confidentiality standards
Contributing to business continuity and CQC assurance processes
Leadership & Supervision
Line managing and mentoring colleagues and new starters
Supporting wellbeing and development through one-to-one meetings
Providing training and contributing to performance management
