We are seeking a Claims Administrative Assistant to support the Claims function with administrative services in London and Europe. The role involves ensuring the accuracy of claims data, compliance with regulatory and company procedures, and managing various claims processes.
* Take ownership of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports.
* Manage claims processing in accordance with Starr and Lloyd's standards and authority levels.
* Proactively manage DOCOsoft workflow, including diaries, and ensure claims are recorded accurately.
* Attach relevant documentation to each transaction and maintain comprehensive notes on claims status and next steps.
* Process and manage settled direct claims, including diaries on DOCOsoft, and coordinate with the UW Ops department for premium signings corrections.
* Correct claim signings that have followed premium signing into suspense.
* Handle manual bridging reserves during quarterly closes, including reconciliation and removal once accounts are updated, and follow up on direct/manual fees.
* Review loss fund adequacy and manage recovery of loss funds from prior years. Upload bordereaux to DOCOsoft as needed. Monitor ECF/Lirma incompletes.
* Provide administrative support for diary, static, and fee follow-up for complex claims during busy periods.
* Assist with ad hoc administrative projects as required.
* Report any suspicion of financial crime to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer immediately.
* Operate within the company's standards for Treating Customers Fairly and manage conflicts of interest to protect the company's reputation.
* Immediately inform Compliance and Management of any complaints.
* Identify training or resource gaps and communicate them to management.
* Promote teamwork and foster a strong team culture.
* Ensure all accounts are contractually certain.
