This is an opportunity for a specialist clinical professional to step into a leadership role within the Integrated Community Stroke Services (ICSS) in South Gloucestershire. You will collaborate with experienced clinical specialists, support operational and clinical leadership, and maintain a complex clinical caseload.
Responsibilities
* Provide a specialised Occupational Therapy assessment and implement patient‑centred treatment programmes for people after stroke within their homes or current place of residence as part of the specialist stroke service, working alongside the rest of the MDT.
* Provide stroke specific advice and support to other staff in the Integrated Network Teams and wider stroke service as necessary.
* Line manage the multi‑disciplinary, integrated community stroke services, providing leadership, operational support, development, and supervision.
* Provide professional support and clinical supervision to all relevant practitioners within their discipline across the community stroke service.
* Promote a positive approach to change to facilitate the development of community stroke services.
* Coordinate the multi‑professional team closely with the Clinical and Operational Lead for ICSS and Specialist Services manager.
* Hold a highly specialist clinical caseload, including independent management of people after stroke with complex presentations.
