We are looking for an experienced SEND Teacher to join a specialist or inclusive school in Preston. We are happy to consider teachers from mainstream settings who are interested in moving into SEND.
Responsibilities:
Planning and delivering differentiated lessons for SEND pupils
Managing classroom behaviour and individual learning plans
Adapting teaching approaches to meet a range of needs including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and learning difficulties
Collaborating with support staff, parents, and external professionals
Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback
Requirements:
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience working with SEND pupils is preferred but mainstream teachers willing to upskill are welcome
Strong behaviour management and adaptability
Passion for inclusive education and long-term commitment
