Overarching Responsibilities
1. Support the growth of the community through the production of high-quality and original content, including blog posts, articles, web copy and social media updates
2. Work closely with the SEO Manager to incorporate keyword research and SEO best practices into your content
3. Review and edit your content for accuracy, grammar, and clarity
4. Align your work with key performance indicators (KPIs) aimed at evaluating content effectiveness
5. Conduct in-depth research on a wide range of topics related to our brand and industry
6. Embrace constructive feedback and proactively seek opportunities to enhance content performance and audience engagement
7. Work closely with the wider marketing team to identify gaps in content and flag issues with existing content
8. Proactive analysis of all campaigns and identifying opportunities for optimisation
Additional Duties
9. Completion of all reports and updates relevant to the post
10. Attend in-house training courses and engage with professionals and experts within our niche
11. Attend all meetings relevant to the post
12. Learn about and develop a deep understanding of all the Polaris brands and the required tone of voice used for each
13. Monitor trends and updates across the wider industry
14. Ensure compliance with our Equal Opportunities Policy and Procedure in all employment practices

Candidate Skills & Expertise
20. At least one year’s experience in a copywriting role
21. A university degree, ideally in a related field, or equivalent experience in a related role
22. Excellent English writing skills
23. Ability to work independently or as part of a team
24. Basic understanding of SEO
25. Ability to proof-read own and others’ work
26. Proactive and resourceful with a ‘can-do’ attitude
27. High level of attention to detail
28. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
29. Capacity to prioritise and work on multiple projects
30. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
31. Experience of Asana and web CMS platforms (Umbraco, WordPress) would be beneficial but is not essential
