Description This role focuses on international sales within the European markets with entry through our distributor network selling high-value energy based capital devices. We are looking for an ambitious and experienced sales individual to grow with existing partners and drive new business across our distribution markets. Position Summary: Under the leadership of the VP, Sales (EMEA), the Senior Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading the local commercial team to meet or exceed their revenue targets each quarter and full year, whilst ensuring compliance with the Company’s Code of Conduct and Sales Compliance Certification, developing a long-term successful business strategy and building sustainable, valuable partnerships with our customers. Territory Overview: Must reside in European / EU territory. This position will require business travel within or outside the region and will require spending considerable time in market with the distributor teams. Valid Driver's License. Duties & Responsibilities: Develop a short- and long-term strategy, aligned to the global and international strategy and priorities, to develop the Cutera brand and business in your region via our selected distributors. Responsible for selecting the right caliber of distributor to represent and develop Cutera within each market in the region, and ensuring distributor has relevant capabilities in place and on-going. Lead annual negotiations with distributors, to ensure we have strong partnerships and agreed growth targets, & documented IDA in place. Responsible for overseeing the sales of all Cutera’s products within region: advise, coach, develop and drive the success and growth of your region via selected distributors, both through capital sale, post-purchase support and recurring revenue. Partner with distributor team to deliver quarterly and annual targets, with profitable sales growth via ASP and product mix, and ensure distributor team focus on the right combination of core products and new products within the portfolio with the right target customers. Develop sales strategies and forecast sales volumes for all products in the region in collaboration with the International commercial leadership team, recommend solutions and opportunities to continue to deliver and grow in the region. Develop partnerships with key opinion leaders in the region for the different applications available on Cutera’s products. Be the face of Cutera in the region, attend key industry events where aligned with the distributor partners, and represent company leadership & key messages. Partner with marketing to plan, develop and execute marketing programs in the region. Accountable to effectively manage the sales pipeline with the distributors to engage, qualify, prioritize and accurately forecast opportunities to maximize results throughout the year, and to maximize cycle revenue. Provide or coordinate customer support as needed to manage customer relationships with the goal of developing strong references. Other duties as needed or required. Qualifications Minimum Requirements & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 8-10 years’ related medical device and/or capital equipment sales experience with 4 years’ related management experience. Preferred experience within the laser industry Proven sales management medical device track record with Direct & Indirect Sales Network, with distributor management a pre-requisite. Prior dermatology and/or aesthetic laser experience with strong technical knowledge of aesthetic lasers. Strong management, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Experience managing performance and mentoring/coaching direct reports and working in a cross-functional environment. Up-to-date knowledge of industry and competition. Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with Salesforce.com or similar system preferred. Fluent in English and at least one other relevant regional language(s).
