Resideo is seeking a proactive and influential Area Sales Manager - Specification Heating & Water Solution to strengthen our market presence across the South East of England. Resideo is a global leader in residential heating and water solutions and our strong brands Honeywell Home and Braukmann are widely established across Europe. While the role offers flexibility, it is best suited for candidates located in South East of England.
This is a field-based role in which you will drive specifications and conversions across an assigned region, working closely with social housing providers, developers, contractors, specifiers, and other key partners. You’ll build strong relationships with key decision‑makers, win new business, and protect existing specifications while working toward agreed regional sales targets.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Sell Honeywell Home and Braukmann heating and water solutions through merchant networks to Social Housing & Local Authority providers, M&E Contractors, Regional New-Build Developers, medium to large contractors, and other key partners.
2. Winning new business while maintaining and protecting key specifications and existing sales across the region.
3. Achieve regional sales targets through proactive specification strategies, conversion activities, and margin expansion initiatives.
4. Build strong relationships with key merchant partners to generate leads and joint business opportunities.
5. Utilize to manage special pricing agreements, pipeline visibility, opportunity tracking, and reporting.
6. Provide accurate and timely updates on specification wins, project progress, and forecasts.
7. Monitor competitor activity and market trends, sharing insights with senior leadership.
8. Maintain a strong understanding of relevant building regulations and energy efficiency standards.
9. Deliver product presentations, CPD sessions, and training to customers and partners.
10. Represent Resideo at exhibitions, trade shows, and regional events to promote solutions and generate new sales leads.
YOU MUST HAVE:
11. Strong influencing and relationship-building skills with senior decision-makers.
12. Proven track record in specification-led sales within the heating, water, or related building services sectors.
13. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
14. Full Driving license
WE VALUE:
15. Sound knowledge of building regulations, compliance requirements, and energy efficiency standards would be an advantage.
16. Experience or knowledge in HVAC, thermostat technologies, or smart home solutions would be beneficial.
17. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
18. Existing business relationships in the similar customer base.
