Duty Officer
Location: Kingsbury School, Tamworth – Kingsbury Leisure Centre.
Grade F11: £14.59 per hour (excluding holiday pay) – enhanced to £16.35 per hour including holiday pay.
Casual – evenings and weekends.
Multiple positions available as part of a £1.8 million refurbishment.
Responsibilities
* Act as senior member of the leisure centre management team in the absence of the manager, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
* Front‑of‑house duties at reception: processing payments, bookings and general administration.
* Lead a small team of swimming teachers and lifeguards.
* Comply with health and safety policies, risk assessments, fire procedures and PSOP (NOP & EAP).
* Open and prepare the site/facilities in the morning and secure premises in the evening (depending on shift).
* Oversee operation and maintenance of electrical, disinfection, filtration, ventilation and circulation systems and general mechanics of the swimming pool plant room and facilities.
