We are looking for a full-time (36 hrs per week) senior care assistant to join our expanding team of staff on nights, in our lovely home for adults with learning and physical disabilities. A big heart, empathy, reliability, self-motivation and a cheerful caring nature is essential.
Shift times 20.00hrs hrs.
There will be opportunities to work overtime on both day and night shifts to cover holidays. The ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to work overtime if required.
Exprience working in a senior care assistant role is desirable or if you are a care assistant looking to progress in your career this is an ideal opportunity.
The role does include on call on a rota basis and also administration of medication.
At The Emmie Dixon Home we strive to provide the best possible service so if you are a hard working carer with experience in care we would like to hear from you. NVQ 2 or above is desirable but we encourage and support all our staff to undertake this training which can be provided for the right candidate.

Additional shift incentive (currently £25 per 12 hour shift) is paid in addition to the hourly rate for employees who work overtime in excess of their contracted hours.
