Key Responsibilities
As Commercial Manager, your role will include:

Leading all commercial aspects of civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to final account.

Overseeing the preparation and management of budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
*
Administering NEC3 and NEC4 contracts with a high level of competence and confidence.
*
Managing subcontractor procurement, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements.
*
Preparing and submitting applications for payment, valuations, and managing change control.
*
Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities across multiple live sites.
*
Reporting commercial performance to senior leadership and advising on cost strategies.
*
Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff as required.
Requirements
*
Proven track record as a Commercial Manager within the civil engineering or construction sector.
*
Essential experience with NEC3 and NEC4 forms of contract.
*
Strong understanding of commercial processes, contract law, and cost control.
*
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
*
Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with project teams.
*
Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
