About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Development Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing organisation based in Tamworth.
This role offers the chance to take ownership of high-level engineering projects, drive plant and process improvements, and play a key part in shaping maintenance strategy across a busy production site.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll lead and deliver projects that enhance plant performance and reliability. You'll also champion preventative maintenance and continuous improvement activities, mentoring colleagues and embedding best practice throughout the engineering function.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan, develop, and implement site-wide engineering projects to agreed timescales and budgets.
2. Oversee installation and commissioning of new plant and equipment in line with relevant standards and legislation.
3. Provide high-level production support, including advanced fault finding and problem resolution.
