Were seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer/Turner to join a well-established, family-run precision engineering business based in Stoke-on-Trent!

Youll be responsible for programming, setting, and operating 2-axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, producing precision components to specification, and working with CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360) to develop and optimise programs.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent position offering long-term stability and excellent working conditions.
What youll be doing
* Program, set, and operate 2-axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls
* Create and optimise CNC programs using Fusion 360 or similar CAD/CAM software
* Interpret detailed engineering drawings to produce precision components
* Manufacture small batches of intricate, high-quality parts
* Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks using measuring equipment
* Ensure all work is completed in line with safety standards and company procedures
* Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
Hours
Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm & Friday 8am-3:30pm
Pay
Approx £35,000 per annum(Depending on Experience)
Overtime available and paid at time
Skills/Experience Required
* Experience in CNC turning/programming (5 years + preferred)
* Proficient in programming Fanuc-controlled lathes
* Experience with Fusion 360 or equivalent CAD/CAM software
* Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Confident using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, etc
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
