About The Role
Falmouth Exeter Plus manages and delivers services at Falmouth, Penryn and Truro Campuses on behalf of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter. Our Estates Development team are seeking a Project Officer to provide effective planning, project management and professional services support in the delivery of capital development projects which provide quality Higher Education facilities. The postholder will deliver smaller or less complex development projects from inception to completion, alongside supporting the team in the delivery of our more complex schemes. They will hold responsibility for the day-to-day running on their projects, managing internal and external stakeholders as their projects dictate alongside managing contractors during the construction phase. Within their supporting role, they will be required to assist in general team information management, systems and procedures ensuring all resources available to us are used efficiently.
About You
Reporting into the Estates Development Manager the successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a keen attention to detail and the ability to be creative and problem solving in their approach. These skills will be vital in their contribution to the successful delivery of development projects across the differing organisational needs. The role is a dynamic role which will require the successful candidate to have excellent organisation, time management and communication skills to ensure successful delivery of the team’s portfolio of projects. The ideal candidate would have the following experience:
1. Scoping, delivering and managing projects from initiation to completion
2. Utilising recognised project management tools and systems
3. Working with multiple stakeholders and delivering exceptional customer service
4. Good understanding of CDM requirements, demonstrating health and safety practices whilst delivering projects
5. Exceptional record keeping and administration skills

This post is offered on a 37.5 hour a week, full time, permanent contract working across Monday-Friday.
