Job Description
Reporting to the Finance Director the Financial Controller will be responsible for:
3. Oversee and manage all financial reporting and accounting processes.
4. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
5. Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
6. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for the organisation.
7. Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making.
8. Monitor cash flow and implement effective financial controls.
9. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes.
10. Manage and develop a high-performing accounting and finance team.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Controller should have:
11. A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
12. Extensive experience in financial reporting and compliance.
13. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
14. Proven ability to lead and manage teams within the accounting and finance department.
15. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
16. Experience in the retail industry or a similar sector is advantageous.
