Hotel, a striking Grade II listed iconic building in the vibrant Spinningfields

V&A is the home to Chop
& Plant our casual drinking and dining destination, offering a blend of
Chop House classics and plant-based dishes with a focus on local produce and
sustainability. We have flexible event spaces, including outdoor
terrace, small boardrooms and banqueting for up to 200 people.

What
you will be doing:
Inspect
guest rooms & public areas to ensure consistent quality standards
Ensure
compliance with all company and health & safety procedures
Manage
orders and deliveries in a timely manner
Ensure
all par stock levels are maintained to agreed level
Liaison
with other departments to ensure operational tasks are delivered successfully
Follow all company
and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance
problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
Actively
participate and encourage other housekeeping associates to participate in the
daily briefings.
Collect ‘VIP’ list,
‘Traces’, ‘Special Request’ list and ‘Departure Paid’ list from the
Housekeeping Office Coordinator.
Be responsible for
checking that staff has satisfactorily completed work assigned to them by
completing their worksheet before going off duty.
Assist the Head
Housekeeper with maintenance care programs such as quarterly mattress turning,
quarterly guestroom shampooing, bathroom ceiling cleaning, etc
Check and ensure
all VIP rooms are up to the cleanliness and presentation standards as set by
the Head Housekeeper.
Ensure the
equipment of your respective associates is well maintained and in proper
working order.
Welcome and
acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address
guests’ service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with
others using clear and professional language.
What
we are looking for
2 Years Housekeeping experience preferred
A
