Mornington Court is a luxury 57-bed care home providing the most luxurious surroundings, along with exceptional residential and dementia care and support.
The Activities Coordinator role is a hands-on position responsible for coordinating a successful activities and volunteer programme within the Cinnamon home. This includes internal and external communication about activities-focused programmes for our residents.
The role involves introducing appropriate activities for older people to support independence and identifying local activities that help residents integrate into the community.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Organise and conduct activities that promote social, mental, and physical stimulation for residents.
2. Help organise fundraising events.
3. Coordinate special events such as Christmas entertainment, Ascot, Royal Occasions, etc.
4. Develop a monthly programme of events in consultation with the General Manager.
5. Encourage residents and staff to participate in the activities programme.
6. Maintain posters and notice boards within the home.
