Overview
Durlston is expanding to incorporate GCSEs into our curriculum with our first Year 11 GCSE examinations taking place in the summer of 2026. We have a vacancy across key stages and are looking for an outstanding Learning Mentor (Teaching Assistant) to support a specific subject stream in the curriculum including English, Maths and Science. We are ideally looking for full-time candidates to work 40 hours per week, term time only. We seek candidates who can balance supporting each pupil on a one-to-one basis, in small groups or alongside the class teacher, with a strong emphasis on pastoral care to support our growing young adults. Although some aspects of this role will involve helping children with identified needs, we envisage this role to be so much more, supporting all children and abilities.

You are advised to submit your application as soon as possible as we reserve the right to close the post at any time once we have received sufficient applications.
