The Role
We are looking for a skilled CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a passion for precision engineering and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and set CNC turning machines to produce components to exact specifications.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
* Set up tooling and fixtures for efficient machining processes.
* Perform routine maintenance to ensure machine reliability.
* Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
* Collaborate with colleagues to assemble and inspect parts as needed.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
* Support warehouse operations including materials handling and inventory.
What We're Looking For
* Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in tooling and machining.
* Experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in basic maths for accurate measurements and calculations.
* Familiarity with CAD software and logic controllers is highly desirable.
* High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
* A proactive, team-oriented attitude.
