MEP Director Bristol We’re supporting a rapidly growing, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy in Bristol as they look to appoint an MEP Director to lead and expand their Building Services offering. The business operates across the full development lifecycle - from early concept through to delivery - combining engineering, project management, cost consultancy and wider construction services into a fully integrated offering. Their model is highly collaborative, commercially driven, and focused on delivering efficient, coordinated solutions for developer-led projects. With multiple UK offices including Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth, Cardiff and Birmingham, the business continues to expand its regional presence and capability across key development hubs.The Role As MEP Director, you will take ownership of the Building Services function in Bristol, leading delivery and building a high-performing mechanical and electrical engineering team over time. You will:
* Lead MEP design delivery across a wide range of development-led projects
* Work closely with internal disciplines including project management, cost consultancy, and civil/structural engineering
* Provide technical leadership and ensure consistent quality, coordination, and commercial awareness
* Be involved early in projects from feasibility through to delivery stages
* Help shape the long-term strategy and growth of the Building Services offering in the region
Leadership Approach This is not a traditional “bring your own clients” Director role.
* You do not need to be heavily work-winning from day one
* The focus initially is on delivery leadership, integration, and team development
* You will be supported by an established internal pipeline of work
* Over time, you will naturally develop client relationships and commercial opportunities

What They’re Looking For
* Strong background in Building Services Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical bias)
* Consultancy experience delivering multi-sector projects
* Comfortable working in a commercially focused, fast-paced environment
* Strong collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
* Leadership experience or ambition to step into a Director-level role
* Desire to build and grow a team within a wider consultancy structure
