You will business partner with the buyers in the team and you will be an intrinsic part of the business unit owning the trade plan and developing the category strategy. This role reports into the Senior Trade Planning Manager for Trade Planning and Category Strategy which is part of the commercial team and will cover all channels & formats. The key areas of responsibility will be to support Be the point of contact with the customer team to translate and deliver the brief set from the strategic trade plan across all channels. Develop the category strategy programme alongside the business unit, working with the customer team using analytics & insight to build a winning trade plan that delivers our formula for growth objectives Work with the category to ensure legal and compliance messages are communicated to the customer Develop the strategic plan for space & range as part of the category strategy output Run the post launch review process for range change and promotions using existing processes Work with other marketing co-ordinators on wider food and team initiatives as & when required About You Experience in buying, category management or trade planning Ability to work independently and as part of wider, matrix team structure Experience of working with customer data to turn into action orientated plans Be comfortable handling admin and achieving deadlines Handle conflict when it occurs, often with senior team members The ability to influence at different levels across the business Everything you'll love To ensure we balance moments where we know we need to collaborate together and the need for flexibility, Asda has a hybrid way of working with a minimum 3 days a week in one of our Home Offices.
