About this role
The University of Chichester is seeking a talented, passionate HCPC registered Physiotherapist to join its growing healthcare education team at the Chichester campus. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a GOLD TEF-rated university known for outstanding teaching and student experience. The university is expanding its provision with significant investment and a reputation for innovation and excellence. The appointment can be for a full-time Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy or two part-time Senior Lecturers, with expertise and interest in Cardio/Pulmonary Physiotherapy. There is potential for academic development, including a Teaching qualification, Masters, or PhD.
The Senior Lecturer will lead teaching and module coordination for a contemporary Physiotherapy curriculum, enhance student experience, support clinical placements, and engage in research and scholarly activities. Collaboration with clinical colleagues to develop placements and conduct educational audits is also expected.
About you
The successful candidate will have leadership experience, a relevant undergraduate degree, and postgraduate qualifications at Masters level or higher in Physiotherapy. You must be a practicing Physiotherapist registered with HCPC for at least 4 years, and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). UK work experience, NHS experience, and supporting students are desirable. You should demonstrate the ability to inspire students and have experience with Virtual Learning Environments and educational technologies.
