Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker – Warrington
Rotherwood Cares are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join their solo children’s service in Warrington.
Salary: £32,644 – £34,824 per annum (including sleep-ins) DOE
Hours: 2 days on / 4 days off, including sleep-in shifts (rotas provided in advance)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Essential Requirements:
* Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People (or working towards it)
* Experience in a children’s residential setting (essential)
* Supervisory or team-leading experience (desirable)
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Must be over 21 (industry regulations)
The Role:
As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in the daily life of the home. This solo service provides therapeutic placements in a smaller setting, supporting young people with their domestic needs, education, socialisation, and personal development. Duties include:
* Building strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals
* Supporting care plans and encouraging children to achieve their goals
* Leading by example and supporting colleagues on shift
* Promoting a safe, nurturing home environment
* Supporting learning, development, and independence
* Maintaining accurate and professional records
