Duties
* Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, restorations, and surgeries
* Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials to ensure efficiency and safety
* Provide compassionate patient care by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
* Monitor patient vital signs and assist with anesthesia administration as needed
* Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
* Manage medical terminology and records to support accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and billing processes
Experience
* Prior experience or qualification as a Dental Nurse or in a similar healthcare support role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
* Applications from dental nurses trained/qualified in conscious sedation are welcomed
* Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental care
* Familiarity with medical documentation standards and maintaining detailed medical records
* Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy clinical setting
