We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Retail Assistant to join the team in our High Legh Garden Centre. Our competitive rates of pay depend on age. The hours for this position are 41 per week over 5 days, including regular weekend shifts, so flexibility is a must.
The Role
As a General Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, helping them make informed purchases.
Responsibilities include:
1. Till operation and serving customers
2. Stock replenishment and merchandising across all departments
3. Creating and maintaining attractive product displays
4. Assisting customers throughout the Centre and taking every opportunity to WOW
5. Carrying out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
6. Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
7. Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
Ideal candidates will be friendly, engaging, and have a genuine love for customer service. Knowledge of garden centre products is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. Other key qualities include:
