Registered Manager | Bristol

Location: Bristol

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Hours: 37,5 hours per week

Salary: £55.000 per year

Job Scope:

We are recruiting an experienced and value-driven Registered Manager to lead high-quality services, supporting young people and adults with complex mental health needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to guide nurse-led, multi-disciplinary teams and ensure that care is delivered in a trauma-informed, recovery-focused, and person-centered way.

About the role

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for service performance, regulatory compliance, staff development, and maintaining positive relationships with professionals, families, and local authorities. Your leadership will be essential in creating a safe, empowering environment where individuals can achieve meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead day-to-day operations across supported services for young people and adults with complex mental health and behavioral needs.
* Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding requirements, and internal quality frameworks.
* Provide strong leadership, guidance, and supervision to multidisciplinary teams.
* Oversee risk assessments, care planning, referrals, and regular reviews to ensure personalized support.
* Build positive working relationships with local authorities, families, healthcare professionals, and partner agencies.
* Support staff through structured inductions, training, and ongoing development.
* Lead on quality assurance, incident management, improvement plans, and regulatory reporting.
* Promote a culture of empathy, empowerment, and recovery, aligned with organizational values.

About you

* Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Manager in a health, social care, or mental health setting.
* Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
* Strong experience working with local authorities, families, and multidisciplinary professionals.
* Confident in conducting supervision, inductions, training, risk assessments, care planning, and reviews.
* Background in supporting adults or young people with disabilities, complex needs, or challenging behaviors.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
* Full UK driving license required.
