24x7 provides home to school transport for children with special educational needs on behalf of West Sussex County Council.
You will be required to work part-time Monday-Friday mornings and afternoons during term time only. Usually, you will be starting at 07:00 for your morning route and your hours will be 15-20 hours per week (average 20 hours per week subject to the route you are allocated).
Your Job Role
1. Assist children or vulnerable adults to and from school, college, or day care centres whilst being transported in one of our cars or small minibuses.
2. Build fast positive and professional relationships with passengers, educational establishments, and families.
Requirements
1. Sufficient command of the English language.
2. DBS criminal record check as you will be working with children, young persons, and/or vulnerable adults.
3. A friendly and positive attitude, enjoy working with children, and be fit and reliable.
4. Previous experience would be beneficial but not essential.
5. Training will be provided.
Your annual salary is £6300-£9600 subject to route and hours worked.
