This is an ideal position to gain necessary skills and experience for those considering applying to teacher training courses or for those looking for some experience alongside a current course. Applicants will ideally have previous experience working within young people or relevant field, but you do not need a teaching qualification to apply! Immediate and September starts availabe.
Within this role the successful applicants will mainly be covering pre-planned lessons across a range of age groups and abilities – Giving you experience with a variety of different students all from different backgrounds.
As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include;
* Managing classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for learning
* Supporting students in their understanding of lesson content - providing assistance and guidance as required.
* Foster positive relationships with students, providing encouragement and motivation to help progression.
* Collaborating with other teaching staff to enforce school procedures and policies.
