Position Title: Stores Operative Level I-II

Position summary: Leo Cancer Care requires a Stores operative to help oversee the efficient operation of our company's storage facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and dispatching goods, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Working week 37.5 hrs Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities
* Maintain accurate records of all items in the storage facility.
* Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
* Ensure all items are properly labeled, stored safely, and documented.
* Prepare items for dispatch, including picking, packaging, labeling, and loading onto delivery vehicles. Kitting of assemblies to feed the manufacturing line.
* Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to schedule timely deliveries.
* Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for defects using monitoring and measuring devices.
* Ensure that all goods meet quality standards and report any issues promptly.
* Maintain comprehensive records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, issuances, and returns.
* Use hand and power tools such as hammers, drills, nails, and other packaging equipment.
* Warehouse experience: 2+ years
Relevant Knowledge and Skill requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Forklift Certification (advantageous)
* Proven experience in storekeeping or a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of inventory management and record-keeping.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
* Proficiency in using computerized inventory management software and MS Office applications.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lift and carry heavy items and operate material handling equipment.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
