Job Description
What you’ll be doing:
1. Holding a structured meeting with an individual to identify appropriate study and support strategies to facilitate participation in their study activities, including, where appropriate, Non-Medical Helper (NMH) and travel support.
2. Evaluating the suitability of, and offering advice on, hardware, software, assistive technology, and other aids for each individual.
3. Producing formal written needs assessment reports in an appropriate format, following relevant guidance and KPIs.
4. Responding to post-assessment queries from customers or Funding Bodies within the required timeframe.
5. Conducting reviews of customer needs upon request.
What we are looking for:
1. Exemplary communication skills.
2. Excellent report writing abilities and attention to detail.
3. Extensive knowledge of DSA funding guidance.
4. In-depth understanding of relevant Assistive Technology (software and hardware) and its role in addressing challenges across disabilities, matching features and benefits to individual needs.
5. Adept at working to strict KPIs and producing high-quality work.
6. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues, being reliable, dependable, and well-organized.
