This Senior Test Automation Engineer will be working for the FSM/RAM business unit responsible for SaaS based products encompassing Field Service Management, Vehicle Tracking, Fleet Management and Connected Cameras. With initial focus on Field Service Management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead testing for the FSM development department
2. Test Automation Strategy: design and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy for complex SaaS systems, ensuring coverage of critical business processes and integration points.
3. Test Script Development: independently write, modify, and maintain automation scripts for various test scenarios. Understands how to structure test scripts for reusability and scalability.
4. Work with the senior developers to establish FSM’s QA and Release management process considering both automated and manual testing to improve the quality of our releases across all our platforms.
5. Contribute to FSM’s Documentation process for capturing and sharing information about products, projects or other relevant information that will help with knowledge sharing.
6. Be able to work independently on QA tasks across FSM’s portfolio of products
7. Provide regular clear reporting, both verbal and non-verbal, within the IT team and across the wider organisation on task/project progress, support issues or other technical information
8. Participate in relevant training, coaching and mentoring and identify personal training needs to achieve business goals.
9. Maintain and develop own skills, knowledge and behaviours as well relevant industry standards.

Essential Skills
10. Computer science or similar related experience. 5+ years proven track record in a similar role.
11. ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst OR ISTQB Technical Test Analyst
12. Application of Test Design Techniques
13. Advanced Scripting and Tool Mastery: Deep expertise in multiple automation tools and scripting languages, capable of writing highly optimized and complex test scripts.
14. Integration and Continuous Testing: Proficient in integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and familiar with using version control systems (e.g., Git)
15. Test Plan Development
16. Understanding of APIs
17. Knowledge of Security Protocols and Standards
18. A good understanding of Agile Programming Methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
19. Able to work both individually and as part of an agile team.
