* Transaction Handling: Manage check processing and maintain detailed transaction records.
* Software Utilization: Use accounting software systems like Great Plains and IBM AS/400 for your tasks.
* Performance Analysis: Generate and analyze reports to monitor accounts receivable performance.
* Collaboration: Work with other departments to resolve discrepancies and enhance processes.
* Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
* Data Audits: Conduct regular audits of accounts receivable data for accuracy and completeness.
* Support Close Processes: Assist with month-end and year-end close processes related to accounts receivable.
* Efficiency Improvements: Identify and implement enhancements in accounts receivable workflows.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should bring the following qualifications:
* Proficiency in Accounting Software: Experience with Great Plains and IBM AS/400.
* Excel Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite tools.
* Accounts Receivable Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounts receivable and billing processes.
* Cash Management Experience: Familiarity with cash activity management and check processing.
