Senior Mental Health Practitioner - Band 6, Mental Health Liaison Team:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mental Health Practitioner within the Mental Health Liaison Team based at the Harplands Hospital. If you are a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or OT then we want to hear form you. This vacancy would suit someone who is looking for an exciting opportunity and wants to work as part of a successful Team.

Our Mental Health Liaison Team is part of the Crisis Care Centre, at Harplands Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent this has been designed to the highest level of specification. This modern purpose designed unit will be the central point for all those in need of a Crisis Assessment/Intervention.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is responsible for the delivery of care and for the supervision of others who are carrying out all aspects of the caring process. The post-holder will assist in setting and maintaining standards of care, will participate in maintaining effective management of the team and unit and will also maintain effective integration with the multi-disciplinary team and assist with the facilitation of a collaborative approach to patient focussed care.
