Overview
As a Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you\'ll look after the different needs of our residents to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You may also support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews, while respecting dignity and preferences and helping create a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment.
About you
You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Senior Care Assistant. You should have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We are looking for warm-hearted, compassionate individuals committed to giving each resident individualised care and support. You will have opportunities for ongoing training and career progression; many Senior Carer Assistants progress into Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing roles.
