Responsibilities
1. Analyze existing software development processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
2. Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams to capture requirements and map end-to-end development workflows
3. Develop and document standardized best practices, process flows, and SOPs for the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
4. Recommend and implement process improvements to increase development velocity, code quality, and team collaboration
5. Supervise and measure KPIs related to development efficiency, such as cycle time, lead time, and deployment frequency
6. Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives like Agile retrospectives, root cause analyses, and process audits
7. Work closely with DevOps and tooling teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and automate manual workflows
8. Support Agile transformation by aligning teams with Scrum, Kanban, or other frameworks and tracking alignment
9. Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards for secure, maintainable, and scalable development
10. Act as a liaison between business partners and technical teams to align process improvements with strategic goals
Qualifications
11. 10+ years of experience in business process analysis, with a focus on software development and IT operations
12. Deep understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SAFe, DevOps, Waterfall)
13. Proven track record of leading large-scale process improvement initiatives in software engineering environments
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using tools like BPMN for process mapping
15. Familiarity with software development tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git,and CI/CD platforms
16. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, QA, and DevOps
17. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
18. Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CBAP, or Agile (., SAFe Agilist, CSM) preferred
19. Strong business acumen and ability to align technical process improvements with organizational goals and KPIs
20. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
