Offer description

We are an award winning company that is rated Number 3 as a Top Employer in the UK by the Financial Times. We support vulnerable people in our community, giving them the opportunity to stay in the place they call home, somewhere that has personal treasures and memories.
A company that is in the top 20 care providers year on year in the North East and a 5 star employer as rated by our outstanding care professionals.
Home Instead is looking for caring, kind, empathetic care assistants to support someone like an elderly relative, they forward to seeing the same care professional on each visit - you will become a friend, a confidant, someone to rely on and someone that encourages them to remain as independent as possible.
We are different to other care providers because we don't do any visits of less than 1 hour, this gives you quality time with your client. Hourly rates that are above the minimum wage, along with Paid Mileage and Paid Travel Time to get you to and from your client: Industry Leading Training : Our training programs have been produced to ensure you have the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to excel in your role. We NEVER throw you in at the deep end, we ensure you have been introduced to the client and have completed shadow visits with an experienced Care Professional before you are on your own, but that's only when you feel confident.
Care Certificate : Once you have completed your extended training you will receive an industry recognised Care Certificate. Looking for a role that gets you out and about and not stuck in an office? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Darlington.
